Kneesall, on a hill amidst the rolling fields of the Nottinghamshire Wolds, sits astride the A616 between Newark and Ollerton. The village boasts an excellent Primary School, Private Nursery (Country Kids), a very popular cafe (The Hay Barn), an excellent Indian Restaurant (Rajdhanni) a Horse-Riding Establishment, a Community Centre located uniquely inside the Church building and a children’s' playground. Kneesall has got it all.

Mentioned in the Doomsday Book of 1086 and with its Church dating back to Roman times, Kneesall is old; but thoroughly up-to-date. Once a village mainly of farming folk, Kneesall now has a 'mixed economy' and is full of enterprise and initiative. The Community Centre reflects this diversity.
